Hi, and welcome to Natural Healing Ideas.  How often have you wished for more energy, less stress, fewer colds and flu?  How about less pain?  Hey, I’m with you!  I just want to feel GOOD.  And, I want to accomplish that naturally.  Agreed?

Well, I’m no doctor, but I don’t have to be to learn about natural health. I’ve studied this subject for more than thirty years and I’ve been my own “guinea pig” so to speak.  As a result, I know my own body very well.  I know what works and what doesn’t….and when.  And, so can you.

So where do we start with natural healing?  The answers are all over the board, and for the most part all beneficial.   But to me, the absolute most important thing is to do everything possible to have the most healthy immune system possible.  The next is to understand the power of the mind.

Our immune systems are the “engine” that makes everything else work.  This wonderful system works on the cellular level, affecting every organ, every cell function.  If it’s weak, we are sick.  It it’s healthy and strong, so are we.   So far I think I’ve been a pretty good “experiment”, because today I am pushing (well, alot) years and I take no prescription drugs for anything.  You can do this too.  I’ll show you how.

What does food have to do with good health naturally?  Well, just about everything.  It’s the medicine that nature intended to feed the cells of the immune system so it can actually do it’s job.  It’s a super fascinating subject you’ll read a lot more about right here.  There’s also more information at www.thewholefoodjournal.com.

Now, get familiar with a few words like fiber, water, detox, vitamins, trace minerals, antioxidents, essential, and prevention and glands and organs and such.  Also nutrient deficient as opposed to nutrient rich and aerobic exercise and blood.  We are going to talk alot about all these as we grow, so be sure to visit often.

I have actually witnessed human health deteriorate BECAUSE of prescription drugs.  Let me state that I definitely agreee there is a place for drugs in certain situations and emergencies.  That’s not what I’m talking about.  What I AM talking about is finding a better way to address chronic problems without resorting to dangerous drugs.   How about replacing the newest diet pill with better food?  How about a simple walk?

The great thing about the natural healing ideas is that they have been around for literally centuries.  The basic principles of natural health have not changed for thousands of years.  Our body needs have not changed for thousands of years.  To let our food be our medicine as Hipprocates taught sounds to me like just good common sense, respectful of nature itself. 

I look forward to watching Natural Healing Ideas grow, as this subject is my passion.  I love sharing what I have learned, and am especially thankful when I see someone who has successfully dealt with any health problem with natural healing options. Large or small, they are all miracles of nature.
